Welcome!

Who Are The Isoko People?

The Isoko People are an ethnolinguistic group that inhabits the Isoko region of Delta State, Nigeria.

For more about the Isoko People please click here.

The Isoko Cultural Association is the Toronto Chapter of the Isoko Association of North America (IANA). The Toronto Chapter was founded in 1994 to support and create a sense of community amongst Isoko People living in Canada.

Together with the other six active chapters which make up IANA, our mission is to:

1. Improve the quality of life of Isoko People both in North America and in Nigeria,

2. Preserve and support Isoko cultural heritage,

3. Render humanitarian assistance, and

4. Encourage community development

Click on the tabs above for more details. And for more information about how you can

We also hold annual summer events to support members of the community. Pictures can be seen on the gallery page.
